Hi all

I went down the flying field this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised, I haven't seen the field

so dry at this time of year.

At the moment driving to the bridge was no problem. Keep an eye on the weather though.

I even gave the patch and pits a cut.

Regards

John P

Hi John,

Thanks for the update, I think Phil is planning on going tomorrow, I would be going with him but my new car arrives Tuesday so I have to get mine cleaned and ready to go 😔

When I grow up I want to be a pie lot 🙂

Hi Mike
It was very cold down the field this afternoon.
That's why I am not going flying tomorrow also not a good idea just recovered from flu.
Hope all is well at at home.
Did Jnr get a glider?
Let's hope for warmer weather.

Just to advise the field will be closed to normal sport flying this coming SATURDAY 31st/3/2018 for an F5J teachin / clinic. This of course only applies if the weather holds good for the day.

Thanks

Keith

Hi Guys

Just a quick update on the field and patch conditions.

The flying field as expected is very wet with a lot of lying water.

At the moment I wouldn't risk driving on the field, even along the treeline.

Lets hope for a long dry spell soon.

Regards to all

John P

Hi Guys

Just a quick update as of Tuesday 15 May 18

Went down and cut patch and pits this afternoon, all good, nice and dry for a change.

No trouble getting to bridge.

All being well I'll go down this Saturday afternoon and give it another cut as grass is growing

very quickly.

I normally cut it on Sunday mornings but I'll be away this sunday at a interclub gliding comp.

Happy landing!
