Hi Franks, yes my thoughts exactly so I've cut mine too, but I am going to use simple plastic hinges ( I don't know what they are called  🤔) glued in I think, a bit more permanent

When I grow up I want to be a pie lot 🙂

Welcome aboard Per nice to see you getting stuck in, this competition is shaping up to be a cracker.  You will have to let us know what the tail is like on your model

happy Landings

So, anyone else flown theirs yet? John Postle and Alan Harris flew theirs on Saturday last. Reports advise that you need some down on a powered climb and some up when off the power. As Alan has said keep yours eyes on it as it gets rather small rather quickly. Definitely need a full range receiver, a park style one will see a fly away.

I had mine ready to go on Sunday but that's another story.

Looks like Kit is ready to take part in the Open Class. Any other takers.

After some more discussion I will publish the rules here and ensure they go out with the next SADMAGRAM.

Any thoughts on the round's to be flown gratefully accepted. At the moment we have a climb 'n' glide, spot landing and a climb 'n' Loop. No real change to the original proposal. Scoring will be simple and providing there is more than one entry in the class that class will score. You could enter into more than one class.

That's all for now

Keith

Keith not flown mine yet as I couldn't go at the weekend as Kath is back in hospital (long story best told in person 😉 )

yeah I'm up for it but I've had to cut the elevator off and tape hing it as when you applied any elevator all the tail moved  🤔 there was too much material i am thinking but seems OK now, I'll give it a test flight when i can but yep count me in

Happy Landings
