Having knocked (smashed really) the entire front end off of my acro wot at the first fun fly thanks to the long grass adjacent to the patch, and my use of steel bolts on the undercarriage, the repair is under way to rebuild it. Having cut out all the damaged material and refitted the servo tray, I had to make a new firewall as the old one got ripped out complete with engine and cowl then rebuild the sides. All I have to do now is fuel proof the repair and refit engine and mount, refit the fuel tank which survived the crash, refit the undercarriage using nylon bolts, recover the repaired front then repair repaint and then refit the engine cowl. Not much to do now lol, pictures to follow

Ok here are a couple of pictures of the repair so far
When I grow up I want to be a pie lot 🙂
Ok update on the acro wot the fuel proofing is complete, the engine mount is now installed along with the engine, fuel tank is now fitted and all fuel lines, the bottom has been replaced and the undercarriage refitted (using NYLON bolts), all the recovering is done and most of the repair work on the engine cowl is complete. Now all there is left to do is run the engine up and re-tune it, finish and refit the cowl and she will be as good as new (photo's to follow)
